This is a newly created position and involves designing and building out intelligent applications that combine generative AI, data, and legal processes. Litigation Paralegal - Seattle or Los Angeles (national law firm)

Litigation Paralegal opening with a great mid-size (600 attorney) national law firm. The position can be based out of Seattle or downtown LA and it’s a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). This is one of my favorite clients! They are forward-thinking, egalitarian, and have strong DEI programs that include active affinity and employee resource groups. The paralegal manager is supportive, has a great sense of humor, and has been with the firm for many years. This role supports attorneys in multiple practice groups, including general litigation, M&A, media, IP, technology, employment, financial services, commercial, energy, etc. Strong experience in all phases of litigation, including trial, is required. Billable hour requirement is 1470. Salary up to 145K.

Associate Attorney - San Francisco (boutique litigation firm)

Litigation Associate Attorney opening with an SF plaintiff civil litigation firm that has a robust, growing class action practice and working on ground-breaking legal issues such as ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI). In this role you’ll draft complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery; take and defend depositions, argue motions in court; handle mediation, examine witnesses at trial; supervise junior attorneys and support staff. Requirements: 5+ years of complex litigation experience, antitrust and class action preferred; CA State Bar licensed; the drive to run your own docket of cases; comfortable leading meet and confers, propounding and responding to discovery. Salary: 200-240K depending on experience + 25% year-end bonus.

Associate Attorney - Oakland (boutique litigation firm)

Litigation Associate Attorney opening with an Oakland boutique litigation firm. The firm represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal cases that run the gamut from large technology companies to individuals in matters ranging from nationwide class actions, to trade secret cases, to consumer arbitrations. They stay away from rote case work and look for interesting cases to creatively litigate. Associates take ownership of cases and receive opportunities to draft dispositive motions, coordinate with clients, take depositions, lead settlement negotiations, and deliver oral arguments. The best personality fit is collegial, down-to-earth. They hire associates with good judgement who they can eventually see as partners. Judicial clerkship experience is a big plus. Salary 200-265K (+), depending on experience + annual bonus. Judicial clerkship bonus available upon hire - 50K for a single clerkship, 75K for 2 or more clerkships.

Labor & Employment Attorney opening with an SF public defence boutique. Named as one of the Top 20 Boutique Law Firms in California, this firm advocates for cities, counties, and other local public agencies and non-profits.  In this role you’ll defend cities, counties, and special districts with lawsuits in state and federal court concerning race, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, religion and disability discrimination claims, and other areas of discrimination. They are seeking 2+ years of litigation experience that includes written discovery, taking depositions, motion practice and pre-trial and/or trial experience in state and federal court, dispute resolution, and negotiating severance agreements, as well as knowledge of and interest in employment law, labor law, local government and public law desirable. Salary 225 - 260K + bonus.
