MC RECRUITING ASSOCIATES, LLC
Recruiting Quality = Hiring Quality

Are you searching for Home Health Care Givers and Licensed Staff that you can Trust?

Let me share some tips.

n     Know what you think an ideal candidate looks like. What behavior is most important to you?

o        Compassionate

o        Collaborative

o        Can Handle Stress & Ambiguity

o        Dependable

o        Trustworthy

o        Job Skills

o        Motivated to Work with the Elderly

We can help you determine what the ideal candidate looks like.

n     Know what to look for on the applicants resume.

o        The resume is a ticket to an interview where the applicant can sell themselves!

o        If you have 100 resumes to screen for 1 Elder Care job, how do you sort them into one of 3 boxes A – B – C?

A

Meets all criteria

B

Meets some

C

Meets none

We can help sort the resumes into the right boxes, so you can focus on the Quality Category “A” Resumes.

n     Know what interview questions need to be asked.

o        Most employers will do some form of interview. Therefore, it becomes extremely important that you know what kinds of interview questions that need to be asked.

o        Some employers will ask questions like tell me about yourself”.  What response are you listening for?

o        Other employers will ask behavioral questions – Looking for examples of times when candidates have done things like they will do on the job. For example, Give me an example of what you have done to earn others’ trust?”

o        How do they respond? Do they give you a good example from their past jobs, experiences, and achievements. Are they direct and honest? Are they “faking-it” or exaggerating – Do they tell you:

·         What they  did

·         How they did it

·         What were there results

o        Do they make a  favorable impression

We can help by conducting screening interviews, so you can focus your interview on the Quality Candidates.

n     Know what you want from a Background Check

(Does your Background Check contain):

o        Social Security Number Verification

o        Up-to-date name/address information to compare to the application/resume

o        A Criminal Record search for felony convictions and misdemeanors

o        A national Sex Offender search

o        A Driving Record (MVR) search for traffic violations, DUIs, suspensions/revocations, etc.

Through American Checked, INC., we can help you with your background check.

When my late Mother was suffering from lung cancer, we were surprised by how difficult it was to find quality homecare professionals to help care for her. We made calls, left messages, and did a lot of waiting. It took a long time before we finally found people we could trust. We are forever grateful for the help our caregivers provided during our time of need.” Charlie Austin, MCRA
